Conda Sue Lindell

March 5, 1955 ~ February 15, 2021 (age 65)



Conda Sue Lindell, 65, of Kahoka, passed away at 12:44 am on Monday, February 15, 2021 at her home.

Conda was born on March 5, 1955, the daughter of the late Alan Duane and Sara Mae (Laymon) Lewis. She graduated from Trevor G. Browne High School in Phoenix, AZ. She married Richard Lindell on August 11, 1973 at Epworth United Methodist Church in Phoenix, AZ and he survives.

Conda was employed by the VA Hospital in Phoenix as a release of medical records specialist. She valued her family greatly and adored her grandchildren and one special great granddaughter very much. Conda was so “glad to be home again”. She loved watching it snow, crocheting, reading many books, and was looking forward to having a garden for her and Richard to enjoy this year. Her family will miss her wonderful cooking, as she never made a bad dish.

In addition to her husband, Richard, Conda leaves behind her daughter, Caryn Lindell, one son, Harry “Duane” Lindell, grandchildren; Sara Crawford, Elisabeth Daniels, Kaylavon Crawford, Delea Crawford, Deacon Crawford, Orchid Crawford, and Jasper Crawford, one great granddaughter, Conda Daniels. Also surviving are five brothers; Alan Lewis Jr. of Kahoka, Jerry Lewis of Las Vegas, NV, Mark (Valarie) Egley of Poncha Spings, CO, Daryl (Deana) Egley of Kahoka, and Mitchell (Mellisa) Lewis of St. Louis, four sisters; Donna (Harold) Heinze of Kahoka, Dianna Hacker of Mesa, AZ, Lori (Jimi) Brooksbank of Chandler, AZ, and Cora (Terry) Malone of Kahoka, sister and brother in-laws, James (Lynn) Lindell, Christine (Tim) Lawson, Diane Lalley, Daniel Lindell, and Tom (Kim) Lindell, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Conda was preceded in death by her stepmother, Linda, a sister-in-law, Beth Lewis, and parent-in-laws Harry and Eleanor Lindell.

There will be no services at this time, as a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions in memory of Conda are suggested to the family with checks payable to Richard Lindell. You are invited to share your memories of Conda and leave a condolence at
