Wilbert "Frank" Seaver, 88, of Luray, Missouri, passed away at 9:40 am, on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, surrounded by his family, at the Clark County Nursing Home.
Frank was born May 27, 1937, in Fort Madison, Iowa, the son of John Lemuel and Wilma Christina (Bollin) Seaver.
Frank graduated from Hamilton High School. After graduating from high school, he served in the Army National Guard. He married Lila (Livingston) Seaver, on June 29, 1956, at Burnside, IL., and she preceded him in death on October 13, 2024.
Farming and livestock were in Franks blood all his life. Frank raised cattle and at one time had 600 hogs. He looked forward to getting up early in the morning, eating a big breakfast that Lila had fixed and out the door to tend with his farm. Frank and Lila loved to travel and one of their memorable trips was their trip they went on along with several friends to Hawaii and Alaska. Frank loved his family and looked forward to their visits.
Frank is survived by his sons: Lyle Seaver of Arbela, MO., Gary (Jodie) Seaver of Canton, MO., a daughter: Tammy Eddleman of Luray, MO., a brother Charles (Betty) Seaver of Tennessee, IL, a sister Loretta Welch of Joplin, MO., brother- in-law: Charles R Livingston of Kirksville, MO., 4 grandchildren: Tommy (Melody) Seaver, Danielle Eddleman, John Eddleman, Devin (Natasha) Eddleman, 4 great grandchildren: Nathan Seaver, Nole Seaver, Ruger Eddleman, Remington Eddleman, 2 grand-dogs: “Tippy” and “Truffles” other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his wife, his parents, in-laws Lyle and Alpha Livingston, grandson: Adam Seaver, brother: William Seaver, sisters-in-law: Bonnie Livingston and Patricia Seaver.
Funeral Services for Wilbert Frank Seaver will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, February 2, 2026, at the Wilson & Triplett Funeral Home in Kahoka, MO. Pastor Donna Reid will officiate. A burial will follow at the Seaver-Eddleman Family Cemetery, Arbela, MO. Visitation with family present will be held on Monday, February 2, 2026, from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am at the Wilson & Triplett funeral Home.
Memorial contributions in memory of Frank are suggested to Clark County FFA or Scotland County FFA
