RAYMOND ALLEN TERRILL

Raymond Allen Terrill, 87, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on Friday, July 15, 2016 at the Missouri Veterans Home in Cameron, Missouri, surrounded by loved ones.

Raymond was born in Canton, Missouri on September 11, 1928. He was raised in Clark County and graduated from Kahoka High School.

Raymond was married to Alice Kirchner on March 23, 1951. They celebrated 65 years of marriage.

Raymond served in the United States Army state side. Following services in the army, he worked at Moore's Business Forms as a printing press operator. He then owned and operated Terrill Grocery in Kahoka, Missouri.

In 1964, Raymond and Alice moved to Kansas City where Ray was employed at Townsend Printers. He retired in 1990. After retirement, Ray enjoyed his 55' Chevys and traveling in his motor home.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Alice and their four children and 13 grandchildren. Their daughter Cherlyn Terrill Hansen and husband, Douglas of Liberty Missouri and grandchildren Tara, Andrea, Rachelle, Brett and Katelyn. Their son, Joedy Terrill and wife, Brenda of Olathe, Kansas and grandchildren Brandy, Ryan, and Nicole. Son, Jeffrey Terrill of Lawson, Missouri and grandchildren Lacey, Matthew, and Mitchell. Also, their daughter, Chella Terrill Lauer and husband, Fred of Kansas City, Missouri and grandchildren Ryan and Elizabeth. He also leaves 19 great grandchildren. Additional survivors include his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Wayne (Sandra) Kirchner of Kahoka, MO, Dorothy (Harold) Clough of Liberty, MO and Evelyn Baker of Raymore, MO; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.

Raymond is preceded in death by his parents, Irwin C. Terrill and Luella Falkenstine Terrill; as well as sister, Mary Louise Lewis.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. at St. Paul Cemetery northwest of Kahoka. Officiating at the service will be Pastor Dixie Laube.

Friends may call at Wilson Funeral Home in Kahoka after 10:00 a.m. Saturday with family receiving friends from 1:30 p.m. until 2:20 p.m.

Memorial donations may be given to St. Paul Cemetery, Kahoka, Missouri.
