Kahoka

Osa L. Clay, 95, passed away at home on December 24, 2025. Osa was born on July 3, 1930, to Ernest and Bertha May (Medlin) Moss. A devoted mother, grandmother, great, and great-great grandmother, Osa loved nothing more than to spend time with her family, doting on them and making sure all were well fed and cared for. Osa, to her great joy, recently welcomed her littlest great-great granddaughter. Everyone in Osa’s family was always welcome to visit, but usually they could not leave without a gift of food or pieces of cheese to take on the road. She welcomed all into her home and had a gift for conversation. She also enjoyed sewing, especially little doll clothes and baby clothes and working in her garden. Osa was a very spiritual woman, and her presence in the lives of her loved ones will be missed beyond measure.

Osa is preceded in death by her parents; son Tommy Clay, and daughter Tammy Clay; brothers, Dane Moss, Roy Lee Moss, Forrest Moss, as well as twin brothers in infancy; sisters Lorine Jones, Faye Hill, and Vadie Heimer.

She is survived by her son Donnie Clay, and daughter Lois Clay, both of Kahoka, Missouri; grandchildren Malena, Brock, Dawn, Dillon, Pearly, Rebecca, Chris; great-grandchildren Guy, Tiara, Tristan, Troy, Charlee, Roland, Reya, Ashya, and Isabella, Collin and Oliver; and great-great grandchildren, Hazel, Madalena, Zylan, Kinsley, Vivian, Vera, step grandchild Ember and step great-great grandchildren Makayla and Dakota. Along with many nieces, nephews and Sister-in-Law Rovene.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Osa announced at a later date in 2026.

Memorials for Osa may be made directly to Wilson & Triplett Funeral Home.
