NYLE DEAN STARK

Nyle Dean Stark, age 72, of rural Williamstown, MO, died Friday, June 22, 2012, in Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.

Dean was born August 31, 1939 in Clark County, MO, a son of Albert G. and Nelda L. York Stark.

He was first married to Rosa Lee Cochenour and they were the parents of Larry, Kevin and Travis. He later married Patty Clark, the parents of Wendy and Sarahelizabeth. Patty preceded him in death on April 23, 2007.

Survivors include a son, Travis Stark of Williamstown, MO; two daughters, Wendy Morrison and Sarahelizabeth Stark, both of Williamstown, MO; ten grandchildren: Christopher (Mindi) Clement of Helena, OK, Quintin Starks of Williamstown, MO, Brett Starks of Ft. Madison, IA, Skyler Stark (fiancé Kylene Coleman) of Donnellson, IA, Jacinda Allsup of Kahoka, MO, Savannah Allsup (Scott Severin) of Wayland, MO, Levi Allsup of Kahoka, MO, Crystal (Mrs. Casey) Barnett of Kahoka, MO, Dusty Stark (Heather Brumbaugh) of Kahoka, MO, and Dakota Stark (Kayley Rhodes)of Kahoka, MO; great grandchildren: Ella Clement, Jade Namais, Austin Stevens, Mersaydes and Mackenzie Allsup, Kayden Allsup, Jaelynn, Aaliyah, and Kellen Barnett, Kaylee Stark, and, Khoal and Ariez Stark; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; his extended Cochenour family; best friends, Allen and Elaine Revelle and Frank and Linda Lahown all of Bloomsdale, MO; as well as nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Patty; two sons, Larry and Kevin Stark; and, a sister, Brenda.

Dean was a farmer all of his life and always enjoyed caring for his livestock. He was employed until retirement at Keokuk Steel Castings. He had owned a small engine repair business out of his shop at home and enjoyed working and keeping busy. Dean graduated from Kahoka High School and attended Freedom in Christ Fellowship Church in Kahoka.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and looking for arrowheads. He loved going to tractor and truck pulls in the area. He was a self-taught musician and loved to play music including the banjo, harmonica and guitar. His family was very important to him.

Funeral services were held Friday, June 29, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Kahoka with Pastor Ray Gilbert officiating. Burial was in New Woodville Cemetery.
