Michael Eugene Haage, 51, of Keokuk, Iowa, passed away on May 27, 2025, after a courageous battle with dementia. Born on March 12, 1974, in Stuttgart Germany, to James Stanley and Marjorie Ann (Osbon) Haage. He was united in marriage to Tina (Kinkeade) Haage on June 11, 1994, in Kahoka, Missouri, and she survives. Michael graduated from Revere High School in 1992.

Michael built a life defined by strength, loyalty, and a quiet but unwavering love for his family. He found joy in the simple things, time in the garage, a good day fishing, or coaching from the sidelines at his kids’ games. He was always ready to help a friend or neighbor and had a quiet wisdom that left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. Above all, Michael was a loving husband, an incredible father, and a role model to his children. He lived with purpose, worked with pride, and loved without conditions. His strength will live on in the lives he touched, the family he raised, and the values he passed down.

Michael is survived by his devoted wife Tina of nearly 31 years, who lovingly cared for him throughout his illness. his mother: Marjorie Ann Haage of Hamilton, IL, his grandmother: Marjorie Lucille Osbon of Kahoka, MO, his in-laws: George and Rita Kinkeade of Revere, MO, 3 sons: Shawn (Danielle) Haage of Keokuk, IA, Hunter (Taegan) Haage of Fort Madison, IA, Dakota (Abigail) Haage of Keokuk, IA, a daughter: Shelby (Thomas) Haage of Cedar Rapids, IA, his grandchildren: Aiden Wagner, Nathan Wagner, Landon and Harper Haage, his brothers: James “Bill” Haage of Council Bluff, IA, David (Penny) Haage of Hamilton, IL, Daniel “Dan” Haage of Hamilton, IL, Joseph “Joe” (Regina) Haage of Keokuk, IA, his sister-in laws and brother-in laws: Gretchen (Kevin) Haage of Montrose, IA, Amy (Jeremy) Leisenring of Keokuk, IA, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and host of friends.

Michael is preceded in death by his father: James Stanley Haage, and a sister-in-law: Sheila Haage.

Funeral Services for Michael Haage will be held Friday, May 30, 2025, at 3:00 pm at Wilson & Triplett Funeral Home, Kahoka, MO with burial at the Sand Cemetery. Comforting Words by Matt Stewart, Shawn Haage and Joe Haage. Visitation will be held at the Wilson & Triplett Funeral Home, Friday, May 30, 2025, from 2:00 pm until time of service at 3:00 pm. Memorials in memory of Michael Haage are suggested to go to the family, checks payable to Tina Haage. You are invited to share your memories of Michael and may leave a condolence at www.wilsontriplett.com.         Lunch will be held at the St. Francisville Community Center in St. Francisville, MO immediately following the burial.
