Mary Verlene Paul

Mary Verlene Paul, 58, of LaBelle, Missouri, passed away suddenly at home on Saturday, January 10, 2026. 

Mary, formerly of Kahoka, Missouri, was born on April 26, 1967, to Richard Griffin Sr, and Victoria Burks. Mary was raised by her mother Victoria, and stepfather Donald Burks. Mary worked occasionally at the Clark County Nursing Home and with Industrial Opportunities. She liked to stay close to her home and enjoyed watching her shows and being a homebody.

Mary was preceded in death by her father, Richard Griffin Sr, stepfather Charles Donald (Donnie) Burks, and her mother Victoria Burks.

She is survived by her son; Glenn House Jr.; her daughters Jessica House, and Michelle Coop; numerous grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild; brothers Emmanuel Burks, Donnie Burks Jr, and Curtis Burks, as well as a sister, Mary Griffin.

As per Mary’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded, and private services will be announced at a later date.
