KAHOKA, Mo. - Mary E. Davidson, 91, of Kahoka, Mo., died Thursday, Nov. 27, 2003, at the Clark County Nursing Home in Kahoka.

She was born Dec. 30, 1911, in rural Kahoka, a daughter of William Thomas and Anna Baker Fishback.

On Jan. 12, 1930, she married John E. Davidson in Kahoka. He preceded her in death on Oct. 5, 1969.

Survivors include: a son, Eugene Davidson and his wife, Donna, of Warsaw, Ill.; two daughters, Martha St. Clair of Wyaconda, Mo., and her companion, Dale Priebe, of Kahoka, and Naomi Gonzales and her husband, John, of Tulsa, Okla.; three daughters-in-law, Donna Davidson and Madeline Davidson, both of Quincy, Ill., and Betty Davidson of Kahoka; 33 grandchildren; several great, great-great, and great-great-great grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

She also was preceded in death by three sons, Roger, Leon, and John Edward Davidson; a son-in-law, Orville St. Clair, Jr.; a grandson, Richard Cady; two great-grandchildren; six sisters; and, four brothers.

She attended the Star school in rural Clark County and the former Keokuk Christian Fellowship, now Anchor of Hope.

Mrs. Davidson was always a homemaker and loved raising a large garden. She enjoyed being around children, and especially loved caring for her grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Kahoka with Brother John Varner officiating.

Burial will be in Ashton Cemetery.

Friends can call today with family receiving friends from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to the Anchor of Hope Church in Keokuk or to the Clark County Nursing Home Activity Fund.#
