MARTHA A. ST. CLAIR

Martha A. St. Clair, age 82, of Kahoka, MO, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2015 in Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.

She was united in marriage to Orville Roy "Pete" St. Clair on July 22, 1950 at Luray, MO. He preceded her in death on September 19, 1992.

Survivors include her long-time companion, R. Dale Priebe of Kahoka, MO; one son, Robert Vern (Mary Beth) St. Clair of Wyaconda, MO; a daughter, Pam St. Clair and her husband, Tom Hall, of Estill Springs, TN; two granddaughters, Heather St. Clair of Kansas City, MO and Kristen St. Clair of Trenton, MO; a sister, Naomi Gonzales of Tulsa, OK; sister-in-law, Donna Davidson of Warsaw, IL; extended family and their children: Wayne (Debbie) Priebe of Wyaconda, MO, Debbie (Jeff) Trindle of Liberty, MO, Danny (Sharon) Priebe of Lancaster, MO, Roby (John) Hammond of Kahoka, MO, Becky (Alvin) Metternich of Ferris, IL, and Candy (Tom) Bryant of Keokuk, IA; as well as nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Martha attended Kahoka High School. She was a member of the Gorin and Wyaconda United Methodist Churches.

Martha spent all of her life as a homemaker. She was an excellent cook who loved to prepare meals for her family. She put in a large, beautiful garden and spent hours canning her produce as well as sharing with others. She was a perfectionist in whatever she did, paying attention to the smallest of details and precision. Although few people knew, she had a beautiful singing voice.

Martha loved taking care of her family. Her granddaughters were the "apple of her eye" as were her nieces and nephews and her extended family she shared with Dale. She attended the SEIA and ILLIAMO Model Car Clubs with Dale and together they took many trips and drives with car club friends.
