Mark Wallace Allred, 73, of Aurora, Illinois, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at his farm at Revere, Missouri.

Mark was born on April 27, 1952, in Dorsey, Mississippi, to Leroy and Wilma (Gregory) Allred. He was united in marriage to Allison (Hudson) Allred on August 14, 1970, in Aurora, Illinois and she survives.

Mark worked as a welder for Caterpillar for 30 years and retired in 1996. Mark cherished his job and the profound friendships he developed that lasted a lifetime. Mark found peace and enjoyment coming to his farm in Missouri. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, mushrooming and relaxing, but above all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Mark is survived by his wife Allison of 55 years, his daughters Angela (John) Hard of Aurora, IL., Melissa (Peter) Mihelich of San Clemente, CA., a brother Lathan Allred, sisters Linda (Chuck) Nustra, Hope (George) Perry, grandchildren Amber (Sam) Torres, Arthur J. Kunold, Jacob Mihelich, London Mihelich, 5 step grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, his sisters Patricia Fleming, Kathy Giangeorgi, his brother Danny Allred, brothers and sister- in- laws Jimmy Fleming, Michael Giangeorgi, Kim Allred.

Memorials in lieu of flowers are to the family and may be mailed or left at Wilson & Triplett Funeral Home Kahoka, MO

According to his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no visitation or funeral service held at Kahoka. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Aurora, Illinois. You are invited to share your memories of Mark and leave a condolence at www.wilsontriplett.com
