Linda L. Smith

Linda Lee Smith, 71, of Kahoka, passed away at 9:17pm on Sunday, March 31, 2024 as the result of an automobile accident.  Linda was born June 22, 1952, to Floyd and Margie (Jessup) Bishop in Loma Linda, CA.  Linda attended school in San Bernardino, CA. Linda was united in marriage to Sam Smith, and he preceded her in death in 2008.  

Linda and Sam were very much involved with modified car racing and attended a lot of races with their car.  She also enjoyed movies and loved her dogs.

Linda is survived by 1 son: Jim (Lori) Bishop, 2 brothers: Rick Bishop, Bill Bishop, 2 sisters: Barbara Gates, Beckie Ketchum, 2 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 2 nephews: Luke Appel, Travis Appel and a very special friend and companion, John Briggs, other relatives and friends.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Sam, and 1 sister: Paula.

Memorials in memory of Linda are suggested to the family.
