Kenneth Bloyd, 69, of Wayland, Mo, passed away peacefully at 9:12 pm on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family. Kenneth was born on October 22, 1954, in Keokuk, Iowa, to Raymond and Martha (Harker) Bloyd. 

Kenneth graduated from Kahoka High School. He was baptized and a member of the methodist faith. Kenneth liked to keep busy and ran in high gear all the time.  He cut wood for different families, he put in 2 gardens and was very giving of his produce, and in his spare time raised chickens. He enjoyed working for Logsdon Grain elevator at Gregory and Wayland, he developed many friendships throughout his job, and cherished each person he met with a caring heart.

Kenneth is survived by his mother; Martha (Harker) Bloyd of Wayland, Mo, 2 brothers: Steven Bloyd of Kahoka, Mo, Vernon (Rhonda) Bloyd of Kahoka, Mo, 1 sister: Debra (Tom) Brown of Keokuk, Ia, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Bloyd, and 1 sister Barbara Walsh.

Graveside services for Kenneth William Bloyd will be held at Frazee Cemetery, Wayland, Mo Wednesday January 10, 2024, at 1:00 pm.  Pastor Shelby Whitney officiating.  Memorials contribution in memory of Kenneth Bloyd are suggested to the family.
