KATHLEEN M. KELLER

Kathleen M. Keller, age 88, of Kahoka, MO, passed away on Friday, March 26, 2004 at the Clark Co. Nursing Home in Kahoka, MO.

She and her twin brother, Kenneth, were born August 18, 1915 in LaBelle, MO, to James Oda and Ora Ethel Lear Vanskike.

On October 18, 1936, she married Alba Fountain and to this union were born two sons, Lary K. Fountain and a stillborn son, Raymond Don Fountain. She married George M. Keller of Ravenna, Ohio, on October 14, 1979 at Center, MO, who preceded her in death on March 27, 1993.

Survivors include a son, Lary K. Fountain and his wife, Janet, of Kahoka, MO; two grandchildren, Tami Christian of Havelock, NC and Sheri Ankeney and her husband, Bryan of Martensdale, IA; five great grandchildren: Ryan Christian of Quincy, IL, Keyan Christian of Kahoka, MO, and, Lukas, Kaleb and Jakob Ankeney, all of Martensdale, IA; a sister-in-law, Arlene Vanskike of Sacramento, CA; two stepsons; several step grandchildren and great grand-children; as well as nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded her in death by her parents; her husband; an infant son; three brother; her twin, Kenneth, Lear and Elroy Vanskikes; and a grandson, Tony Fountain.

Kathleen spent most of her married life in Kahoka. She had worked several years at Murphy's Dept. Store, Moore's Business Forms, and five years as Librarian and study hall attendant at Kahoka High School. Also, 21 years at the Clark County Nursing Service and Home Health Agency as Secretary, and three years at Gregory Antiques.

She was an active member of the Kahoka Christian Church and was church organist for 22 years, a member of the 50-50 Class and Women's Fellowship of the Church and will be greatly missed by all.

Funeral services are Monday, March 29, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at the Kahoka Christian Church with Rev. Dick Clifford officiating. Burial will be in LaBelle Cemetery. Friends can call after noon on Sunday with family receiving friends 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Wilson Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to the Kahoka Christian Church or the LaBelle Cemetery.
