JUDITH E. MORGAN
Judith E. Morgan, age 65, of rural Kahoka, MO, died Saturday, April 14, 2012 at her home surrounded by family, following a battle with cancer.
Judith was born August 15, 1946 at Wyaconda, MO, a daughter of Russell E. and Lois J. Decker Dieterich.
Judith graduated from Clark Co. R-1 High School in 1964 and then from Burlington Business College.
On December 24, 1966, she was united in marriage to Dennis R. Morgan in Kahoka.
Survivors include her husband, Dennis, of rural Kahoka; her mother, Lois Hunziker of Kahoka; son-in-law, Kevin W. Clark of Farmersville, IL; two granddaughters, Isabelle R. and Elena M. Clark, both of Farmersville, IL; one brother, Gerald (Bonnie) Dieterich of Kahoka, MO; four sisters: Donna Drummond of Wayland, MO, Patty McAfee of Lewistown, MO, Carolyn Heberer of Burlington, IA, and Mary (Mrs. Clifford) Pamperl of Leavenworth, KS; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jay W. (Cheryl) Morgan of Williamstown, MO, Judy (Mrs. Sam) Bogener of Kahoka, MO, Donna (Mrs. Wayne) Laubershimer of Keokuk, IA and Donald Ferguson of Kahoka, MO; aunts and uncles: Donald and Wilma Dieterich of Kahoka, MO, Florene Ruble of Morning Sun, IA, William Decker of Greenfield, IL, and Robert Decker of Cyprus, CA; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Monisa Clark; father, Russell Dieterich; step-father, Glenn Hunziker, Jr.; a sister, Mildred Ferguson; a niece, Marlana Heberer; and her grandparents.
Judith was employed by the Iowa Ammunition Plant and upon retirement, she and Dennis returned to Clark County. She loved their home in the country, the beauty surrounding it and time spent out of doors. Fishing, hunting mushrooms and watching hummingbirds were some of her favorite outdoor activities. In earlier years she had enjoyed bowling, especially with her sisters. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and extended family.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Kahoka with Pastor Paul Milliken officiating. Burial was in the Kahoka Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to her grand-children's education fund.
