Hope L. Overhulser, age 53, of St. Francisville, MO, passed away on Friday, July 29, 2016, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Hope was born March 3, 1963 in Keokuk, IA, a daughter of Gary and Mary Sackman LeMaster.

On March 1, 1985, she was united in marriage to David W. Overhulser and they were blessed with 30 years together at his death on March 9, 2015.

Survivors include her parents, Gary and Mary LeMaster of Alexandria, MO; her children: Tina (Todd) Sedore of St. Francisville,, Richard "Bub" (Cathie) Overhulser of St. Francisville, Stewart (Andie) Overhulser of Keokuk, Jason (Raelynn) Overhulser of St. Francisville, and Heather Wilson of Kahoka; thirteen grandchildren: Logan, Luke, and Linzi Sedore of St. Francisville, Elizabeth (Schyler) Chandler of Quincy, Erin Boatwright, Taylor (Rex) Wright, Dakota and Ethan Overhulser, all of St. Francisville, Nic Holmes of Keokuk, Kegan Davis and Kinzey Overhulser, both of St. Francisville and Brayden and Danika Wilson of Kahoka; 13 great-grandchildren; one brother, Bill (Dawn) LeMaster of St. Charles, MO; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, John (Judy) Overhulser of Wyaconda, Joe Cochenour of Lebanon, and Deloris (Ernie) Branson of Kahoka; as well as aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, numerous cousins, and many friends.

Hope was a 1981 graduate of Clark Co. R-1 High School. She was employed the last twenty-three years by Hearth and Home Heatilator at Mt. Pleasant, IA.

Hope loved attending yard sales, craft shows, and spending time camping. One of her favorite times to camp was during the Clark Co. Mule Fest. She looked forward to having the first tomato out of her dad's garden each year and this year did not disappoint her. Hope could sometimes be considered a "baby hog" as she loved holding any and all little babies. More than anything, Hope loved her family. Each and every one of them was special to her and the word "step" was not included in her vocabulary. She leaves a legacy of friendship, family, love and hope.
