Clifford Joe Couch, 84, of Revere, Missouri, passed away at 2:06 pm on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at his home with his family by his side.

Clifford was born on March 10, 1941, on his family farm in Revere, Missouri, to Joe Melvin and Mary E (Winn) Couch. He was united in marriage to Mary Ann (Toops) Couch on June 7, 1974, in Wayland, Missouri and she survive.

Cliff graduated from Revere High School in 1959. He then furthered his education and went to a 2-year Tech School. When entering the doors at Cliff’s shop you would here classic rock music playing day and night. Cliff took great pride in being fair and honest to all his customers and friends. Cliff was very well known as a driver at the drag strip and built many engines for other racers. His favorite things to do was restoring antique cars, going to swap meets and find the deal of the day, going antiquing with his wife by his side looking to grow his collection of oil lamps, license plates, tractor seats. He looked forward to summer so he could mow his yard twice a week if it needed it or not. He appreciated his many customers, friends, and neighbors. He enjoyed sharing his memories of his life on the family farm with his family. He was so proud of his children and their accomplishments. He looked forward to family gatherings, especially his wife cooking.

Cliff is survived by his wife Mary of 51 wonderful years, his sons Mel (Susan) Couch of Quincy, IL, Jim (Weng) Couch of Wayland, MO, Joe Couch of Kahoka, MO, a daughter Nickie (Jason) Logsdon of Wyaconda, MO, 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, his sisters Judy (Paul) Klein of Ferris, IL, Rosalie Lensgraf of Fairfield, IA, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his in-laws Melvin Toops and Alice Toops Gallup, granddaughter Ava Couch and a brother-in-law H. T. Lensgraf.

According to his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no visitation or funeral service. Memorials contributions in memory of Clifford can be made to the Anson Cemetery or to Hospice Northeast MO.
