She also collected angels. In the past year she and Cory had started a business selling custom jewelry and tye dye clothing known as "Carmen's Creative Creations.

It was Carmen's wish to be cremated. A Memorial Service celebrating her life was held Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at 7 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Kahoka with words of comfort by Pastor Gary Whitaker.

Memorials are suggested for Coltin's education with checks made payable to Kelly Ambrose.
