Bonnie enjoyed being a farm wife, spending many hours alongside Carrol on a tractor or with livestock, and enjoyed gardening, cooking, and volunteering for church/community activities as well. Her favorite hobby was playing the piano and organ She was a well-known figure in the community and was often found sitting on a piano or organ bench at countless functions. She played the piano at Chambersburg Church until it closed and then she started playing for services for many years, at the Luray United Methodist Church. Even though it was getting to be a chore over the last couple years she was able to continue to play with the assistance of faithful friends who could help her onto the piano or organ bench. Through the years Bonnie played for countless weddings, funerals and other activities throughout the county. She loved sharing her talent and loved spending time visiting with her many friends.
