Bobbie Gene Bronstine, age 83, formerly of St. Francisville, MO, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2019 in the Lewis C. Nursing Home in Canton, MO.

Bobbie was born May 1, 1936 in Wyaconda, MO, a son of Albert and Sallie Belle Deatrick Bronstine.

On January 9, 1981, he was united in marriage to Jacquelyn Coline Smith-Hardman in Kahoka.

Survivors include his wife, Jackie, of Wayland, MO; two step sons, Jeffrey Lee Hardman of Keokuk, IA and Garrett Ray (Rachel) Hardman of Semmes, AL; two step-daughters, Sherry (Doug) Daggs and Shirley Ball, both of Keokuk, IA; a brother, Virgil Bronstine, of Canton, MO; as well as nieces, nephews, step grandchildren and their families.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Vincel Bronstine; two sisters-in-law: Billie Jean and Willa Merle Bronstine; a niece, Debbie St. Clair; and two step sons, James Robert and Michael Eugene Hardman.

Bobbie was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He was a truck driver all of his life and had a very strong work ethic. He worked for Kaiser Quarry in Kahoka for many years and then for Norris Asphalt in Ottumwa until his retirement.

At his request, he has been cremated. Services will be at a later date.

Memorials were made to his wife, Jacquelyn, c/o Wilson Funeral Home, 975 E. Main, Kahoka, MO.

Services were handled by Wilson Funeral Home in Kahoka.
