Billy graduated from Revere High School in 1974.  On September 3, 1977, he was united in marriage to Terri Jean Garrels at the Revere Community Church in Revere, MO.  They became parents of two children, Tabitha and Kristopher.

During high school, Billy worked in farming and livestock for Glenn Mohr.  Later he worked for Acklie’s Auto Body where Neal Acklie taught him all aspects of auto body repair, painting, and detailing trucks.  He also worked for Trump Trucks and Ball Volvo doing auto body work.  Later, he became a driver for Willcoxson Transport, which he enjoyed very much.  After 8 years of truck driving, he returned to Ball Volvo in the auto body department until his retirement in December 2022.  Over the last few years, he had enjoyed working for Buford Farms part-time.

Billy grew up in the Revere Community Church. In his younger years, Billy raced motocross all over the tri-state area, winning many races.  As a parent, he liked watching high school basketball, golf, and the Marching Indians.  When relaxing, he enjoyed watching major league baseball and professional golf.  His hobbies were golfing and hunting.  He achieved 2 holes-in-one during his golfing career.  His favorite rifles were his Weatherby’s.  He loved his family and once his children grew up, he enjoyed spending time with the family Labrador Retriever, Ozzie.  Billy and Ozzie spent many hours together on pickup rides, walking pastures and hayfields, swimming, and barbecuing their favorite thing to eat, steak. Billy was extremely proud of his 2 grandsons, Luke and Collin.
