ANDY KIRCHNER

Andrew Gale "Andy" Kirchner, age 29, of Quincy and Kahoka, died Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at his parent's home in rural Kahoka of an apparent heart attack.

Andy was born June 3, 1980 in Quincy, IL, a son of Wayne and Sandra O'Day Kirchner.

Survivors include his parents, Wayne and Sandra Kirchner of Kahoka, MO; grandmother, Vanetta Dalton of Kahoka, MO; one brother, Danny Kirchner of Kahoka, MO; a sister, Angie Kirchner of Danville, IA; special niece, Hanna Jean Kirchner of Danville, IA; aunts and uncles: Gary O'Day of Kahoka, MO, Alice and Raymond Terrill of Kansas City, MO, Evelyn and Bill Baker of Raymore, MO, and Dorothy and Harold Clough of Kansas City, MO; as well as several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Henry O'Day and Herbert and Louise Kirchner and step grandfather, Lester Dalton.

Andy graduated from Clark County High School with the class of 1998 and attended Vatterott College. While at Clark County he was active in F.F.A. and band and was known for the smile he had for everyone. He had a heart of gold and was a very generous and giving person.

The past seven years Andy had been employed at Titan Wheel in Quincy. He maintained an apartment there, but came to the family home in the country to spend each weekend. He loved the outdoors. He was a gun fanatic and loved to hunt and ride 4-wheelers. He was crazy about his two year old niece, Hanna and the family beagle, Toby.

Funeral services were held Saturday, March 27, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Kahoka with burial following in the Kahoka Cemetery.

Memorials were suggested to Hanna Kirchner's education fund and are to be made payable to Angie Kirchner.
